Description
What follows is a basic description of the one day workshop taught by Dr. Asher Milgrom, PhD and Dr. Alice Pien, MD
As a preamble to this workshop, Dr. Milgrom will discuss new data concerning the use of standard syringes for injecting Ozone.
- Basic Science
In the lecture that will be followed by practice, Dr. Milgrom will teach the basic science behind stem cell therapies, including the definition of stem cells, embryology, differentiation, differentiation, adult sources, embryonic sources, MSC, amnion and exosomes.
- Basic Lab Science
Dr. Milgrom will discuss the science regarding harvesting, refining, concentrating stem cells, as well as details concerning cryogenic storage and the definition of viability.
- New evidence – original R&D from the AMA Clinic:
Thermal Shock NOT the major element affecting viability
Rather: The “Metabolic Starvation” –> Problem defined
New method of Thawing –> “Metabolic Accelerant” – – significant increase in viability —> Problem solved
New protocols for metabolically supporting cells after administration
- Applications:
Musculoskeletal: In joints as treatment for injuries, osteo arthritis, rheumatoid arthritis
Intrathecal: Parkinsons, ALS, Alzheimer’s etc.
Intradiscal
Organs: The role of stem cells in prostate and kidney disease will be discussed.
A compounded formulation to precondition joints will be shared with the group and a protocol for a series of injections following administration of Stem Cells will also be discussed.
- Applications; Systemic:
Combined protocol with HDOT (Whenever possible). The applications of this protocol in autoimmune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, MS and DMD will be discussed. Dr. Milgrom will also share a protocol for ongoing systemic support of cells
- Applications: Aesthetic
Non Surgical Facelift: Dr. Milgrom will discuss the use of stem cells for this application, including a new method of administration of Stem Cells with computerized injection platform and a new method of administration of ozone gas with a platform of computerized injections, which is applicable for hair restoration.
Scar remodeling: The role of stem cells, amniotic allografts in acne scarring and stretch marks will be discussed.
Hands on training will be provided for about five to six hours as part of this one day workshop. The following practical treatments will be taught by Dr. Pien and Dr. Milgrom, leaving ample time for questions and practice.
- Joint Injections
- Stem Cell facelift
- Scar remodeling
